My wife and I really enjoyed the (Short Pump) Park Lane Tavern.
What a cool place!
I tried a cup of the Guinness Nitro Chilli. It has a bit of a kick, but it's a must try menu item. We tried a few sides - Brussels sprouts, spinach artichoke dip. Both were very good.
My main dish was the bourbon chicken. The asparagus was delicious. The Jamison bread pudding was amazing.
Our servers name was DJ. He did a great job explaining the menu, suggestion items and took great care of us.
The decor is something that you have to see for yourself. Definitely a great date spot. We look forward to dining here again soon!

Shanda was fantastic! We had a group of five and we shared a bunch of appetizers, which can be a lot to keep track of, but she stayed on top of everything and all the food was delicious. The steak salad in particular was top notch, and went … More

Came in for wine dinner experience. 80$ per person end up eating for 3 hours. The stretching out of the five course dinner really shows how terrible they organize the event.
I didn’t like any of the wine. I didn’t like the food. Heavy fired mash potatoes as appetizer is such a terrible idea.
How chopped up of the carbonara would makes the Italian so mad they would fly to America and have a war for it.
Terrible plating ideas. The theme supposed to be spring. But it doesn’t means spring just because you splash some edible flowers.
Things just doesn’t work with each other.
It’s just such a bad experience I wouldn’t recommend their food.

Girlfriend and I shared the bacon stuffed Gouda burger and the corned beef burger. Gouda burger was delicious and juicy, corned beef burger was also very good but a little messy. Tavern chips sounded a little odd with the bbq sauce but were very very good.
Only reason for a knock on this place was they allowed an already intoxicated person to walk in, stop and talk loudly to each person he passed including us sitting at the table trying to eat. They then continued to serve him 3 alcoholic beverages in 20 minutes when he could barely walk already.

From the moment we entered Park Lane Tavern on St. Patrick’s Day, we were astonished by the welcoming & thematic atmosphere, the sheer friendliness of the staff, and the Old Irish decor. We ordered the Colcannon - glazed corned beef, shredded cabbage over chive whipped potatoes - and it was the most satisfying and savory dish! I’m pretty sure I could eat that every day. The Jameson® Irish Whiskey Bread Pudding was absolutely, delightfully decadent! It had a very rich flavor, but felt light enough to not make me worry about calories or carbs! I’ll definitely be headed there again next time I’m in town.

I strongly recommend this tavern. This was my husband and I fourth time at Park Lane. Each time, we try something different from the menu. There are so many entrees and beverages to choose from. The Bacon Stuffed Gouda Burger was incredible. The burger was cooked to perfection and topped with very delicious fixings such as the thick sliced bacon and onion straws. My husband enjoyed his schnitzel. The portions were huge. We couldn't eat everything there. Good thing we asked for a doggie bag so we could have room for dessert. I am definitely coming back again for the bread pudding. They are not shy with their portions. When every other restaurant in town is lowering the quality of their products, Park Lane is leading the pack and shouting quality matters. The quality of the food, service, and the atmosphere have my vote.
They also have a great brew selection. If you aren't into beer, you have to try their Manhattan or Smoked Old Fashioned with your favorite bourbon.

A fun, spacious, "pubby" place with lots of wonderful draft beer. Our experience with the food...well, start with the good...Thomas. our waiter, was outstanding. The plates presented well, the mashed potatoes and asparagus were terrific, the fries acceptable. And then the Monte Cristo sandwich was deep fried and too greasy; the Makers Mark bourbon chicken was so tough the steak knife shredded it, it was dry and impossible to chew. For the first time in all the restaurants I have visited, I sent the chicken back; unfortunately, the second try was no better.
Again. Our waiter, Thomas, was wonderful (best wishes in your studies)! We do plan to return for the draughts and to experience the cocktails but will leave the food in the kitchen.

Park Lane Tavern in Short Pump. The corned beef burger was incredible good! Big and juicy. Thick burger topped with sliced corned beef, cooked cabbage, lettuce and tomato. Mmm!!!! Wasn’t planning on eating more than half - ate the whole thing - and their seasoned steak fries! Really cool eclectic mix of influences from pubs across Europe. Definitely worth a stop!
